Weather Outlook: Disgusting

Did you know that there is a permanent grey cloud hovering over upstate New York? We finally had a decent weekend, and by decent I mean it was sunny for about two hours and didn't rain for more than 3 hours straight, I think. Once Monday hit, however, the cloud flew in and the rain started. As my curiosity peaked I took a gander at weather.com and discovered something that made me cringe, it will rain for the next fifteen days, after which it will sleet for about nine days after which the blizzards will come. After seven short months, the blizzards will cease, followed shortly by a strange period of... you've got it, rain. Now, what I'm going to tell you next might shock you, so be prepared, for two and one half days it will stop raining. That's right, no rain, instead there will be an ice storm, which will again cause the power to fail at my small college and all over upstate New York. It'll be a good time, luckily most of us here are used to such week long power outages, after the infamous outage of oh-three, we've grown quite accustomed to them.

Anyway, if you need me I'll be that strange girl in the galoshes and rain suit racing through the sheets of water pouring down, don't bother trying to wave to me, I won't be able to see anything through the rain anyway.
